She has worked with a variety of magazines as senior editor and previously worked for two publishing companies as a developmental, content, and copy editor. She obtained her Bachelor's in Communication Studies from Oregon Institute of Technology and a Master's in English and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University.
